Itinerary
Day 1 Cairo Welcome to Cairo
the city of the mysterious pyramids and pharaohs, tombs and
temples and more than 6000 years of history. Arrival
transfer from the airport to our hotel in Cairo. In the
afternoon our tour leader will meet us to brief about the
next days of your journey.
Day 2 Cairo
After breakfast we’ll depart Cairo for Nuweiba, the small
town by the Red Sea. We’ll board the speed ferry to proceed
our way to Aqaba, the Jordan’s window to the sea. Then we’ll
drive to Amman, the city that combines the influences of
East and West in a vast melting pot of diverse cultures.
This evening we’ll also join a panoramic city tour to learn
more about the Jordanian life. Overnight stay in Amman.
Day 3 Amman, Jerash, Bosra, Damascus
After breakfast we’ll drive through the pine forests and
olive groves until we reach the ancient Greco Roman city of
Jerash. We will discover the colonnaded street, amphitheater,
churches, temples and the vast Roman Forum in Jerash. Then
we’ll head our way further to Syria to visit Bosra. After
visiting the old city of Bosra and the Roman Amphitheater,
we’ll continue to Damascus, where we will stay overnight.
Day 4 Damascus, Palmyra
Today we will drive to Palmyra for a full day city tour
visiting museum of Palmyra, Temple of Bel, Temple of
Baalshamin, the great colonnade, triumphal arch, the agora
and the amphitheater of Palmary. In the afternoon we’ll
drive back to Damascus for our second night in this
interesting town.
Day 5 Damascus, Amman
After breakfast we’ll visit all the highlights of Damascus.
Our trip includes the National Museum, Tekkiye Al-Sullaymanieh
Mosque, Souk Al-Hamdieh, Umaiad Mosque, Saladin Tomb, Via
Recta, St. Anania Church and St. Polos Church. Then we’ll
continue to Amman where we’ll stay overnight.
Day 6 Amman, Dead Sea, Kerak, Petra
Today we’ll first drive to the lowest point on earth, Dead
Sea for floating on the salty water. Then we’ll proceed to
Kerak to visit the impressive Kerak Castle which was built
in the 12th century. Overnight stay in Petra.
Day 7 Petra, Wadi Rum
After breakfast we’ll depart for a half day tour in the Red
Rose City Petra. We’ll join an unforgettable trip on horse
back till the siq and then by foot till we reach the
Treasury. Our local guide will provide us with a brief
history of the city, which is the greates attractions in the
Middle East. We’ll also visit the Pharaoh's Castle, the
Triumphal arch and the Amphitheater. After this fantastic
trip, we’ll continue to Wadi Rum (Dissah), a vast, silent
landscape of ancient riverbeds and pastle-colored, the
largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert. After
checking into our desert camp in Wadi Rum, we’ll join a 2
hour’s Jeep safari in the desert. This evening we’ll also
enjoy a Jordanian local dinner in Wadi Rum. After chilling
out by the desert fire and sharing our experiences with our
travel mates under a starry sky, we’ll stay overnight in our
desert camp.
Day 8 Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Nuweiba, Cairo
After breakfast we’ll drive to Aqaba port to board the
speed ferry back to Nuweiba. Then we’ll proceed to
Cairo, the capital city of Egypt. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 9 Cairo
Our journey will finish after the breakfast in Cairo.
Transfer to the airport.
