Trip Itinerary


Day 1 Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, the only city in the world connecting two continents: Asia and Europe. This afternoon our tour leader will brief us about the next days of our journey. Evening free to explore Istanbul on your own.

Day 2 Istanbul
After breakfast we will start to discover the magnificent sights of Istanbul. We'll visit the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia Museum.

Day 3 Gallipoli
Today we will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli. We will discover all the important memorial sites in the region including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair and Lone Pine.

Day 4 Troy, Pergamum, Selcuk
After breakfast we will head to the ancient city of Troy, the setting of Homer's epic, Iliad, involving a giant wooden horse. Then we'll continue to Pergamum, and the remains of the Temple of Athena, Temple of Trajan, library and theatre cut into the hillside. In the evening we'll arrive in Selcuk.
 
Day 5 Ephesus, Pamukkale
The best preserved ancient town in Turkey, Ephesus, will be our first stop. In the afternoon we will depart for Pamukkale and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, which was the cure centre founded about 160 BC by the king of Pergamum. Our day will continue with the discovery of Pamukkale (the Cotton Castle) with it's unusual and beautiful landscape.

Day 6 Pamukkale, Cappadocia
Today we will depart for Cappadocia where we’ll stay overnight. We’ll visit the world famous Underground City before checking into our hotel.

Day 7 Cappadocia
After breakfast we will start discovering all the important sights in Cappadocia including the Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley... We'll also visit local handicraft manufacturers and learn about traditional art.
 
Day 8 Cappadocia, Ihlara, Istanbul
Today we'll first visit the Ihlara Valley on our way to Istanbul. Late in the evening we’ll arrive in Istanbul.

Day 9 Istanbul
Our trip will end after breakfast. Today you can shop for souvenirs in the old town, visit the Ottoman palaces or the world famous mosques.
