Day 1 Selcuk (D)
Welcome to Selcuk, the sympatic Turkish town located just
beside Ephesus. Meet your tour guide in the evening to be
briefed about the next days of your journey.
Day 2 Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis (B, D)
The best preserved ancient town in Turkey, Ephesus, will be
our first stop. In the afternoon we will depart for
Pamukkale and visit the ancient town of Hierapolis, which
was the cure centre founded about 160 BC by the king of
Pergamum. Our day will continue with the discovery of
Pamukkale (the Cotton Castle) with it's unusual and
beautiful landscape. In the evening we'll join the
traditional belly dancing show with dinner.
Day 3 Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia (B, D)
Today we will head our way to Konya, the city of whirling
dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, we'll depart
for Cappadocia where we'll stay overnight.
Day 4 Cappadocia (B, D)
After breakfast we will start discovering all the important
sights in Cappadocia including the Goreme Open Air Museum,
Cavusin, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley... We'll also visit local
handicraft manufacturers and learn about traditional art.
Day 5 Cappadocia, Ankara (B, D)
Today we'll visit the famous underground city, the Ihlara
Valley and Kervansaray. In the afternoon we'll proceed to
Ankara, the modern capital of Turkey.
Day 6 Ankara, Istanbul (B)
After breakfast we will visit one of the biggest museums of
Turkey : Anatolian Civilizations. Then we'll visit Anitkabir,
the impressive mausoleum of the founder of Turkish Republic
: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. In the afternoon we'll depart for
Istanbul.
Day 7 Istanbul
Our trip will end after breakfast. Today you can shop for
souvenirs in Grand Bazaar, visit the Ottoman palaces or
world famous mosques before your airport shuttle transfer.
