Trip Itinerary

 
Day 1 Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, the only city in the world connecting two continents: Asia and Europe. This afternoon our tour leader will brief us about the next days of our journey. In the evening you can start exploring Istanbul on your own.
 
Day 2 Istanbul
After breakfast we will start to discover the magnificent sights of Istanbul. We'll visit the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia Museum.

Day 3 Gallipoli
Today we will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli. We will discover all the important memorial sites in the region including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair and Lone Pine.

Day 4 Troy, Pergamum, Selcuk
After breakfast we will head to the ancient city of Troy, the setting of Homer's epic, Iliad, involving a giant wooden horse. We'll continue to Pergamum, and the remains of the Temple of Athena, Temple of Trajan, library and theatre cut into the hillside. In the evening we'll arrive in Selcuk.
 
Day 5 Ephesus, Pamukkale
The best preserved ancient town in Turkey, Ephesus, will be our first stop. In the afternoon we will depart for Pamukkale and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, which was the cure centre founded about 160 BC by the king of Pergamum. Our day will continue with the discovery of Pamukkale (the Cotton Castle) with it's unusual and beautiful landscape. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.

Day 6 Pamukkale, Saklikent, Fethiye
Today we will depart for Fethiye, the “traveller’s paradise” by the Mediterranean coast. Besides its magnificent beaches, spectacular nature and unspoiled beaches, Fethiye also covers the site of ancient Telmassus. On our way to Fethiye, we’ll visit the spectacular Saklikent Gorge. Saklikent is a natural wonder hiding within a 18 km long magnificent canyon of which height reaches to 600 meter in some places.The impressive rocks and ice-cold water of the canyon will experience us an unique afternoon. Overnight stay in Fethiye.

Day 7 Fethiye, Gulet Cruise (L, D)
After breakfast we’ll depart for our cruise boat at the Fethiye harbour. Before noon we’ll start cruising in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea. We’ll first sail to Butterfly Valley where we’ll give a swimming and lunch break. The Buttefly Valley is a natural wonder hosting 136 kinds of different butterflies and moths. Then we’ll cruise to the peaceful lagoon of Oludeniz where you can also join adventure activities like paragliding and microlighting. St. Nicholas Island will be the last stop of our day. You can also visit the ancient Byzantine ruins here.

Day 8 Gulet Cruise (B, L, D)
Early in the morning we’ll depart for the famous Aquarium Bay near the sympatic village of Kalkan for breakfast and swimming break. Then we’ll cruise to the fishing village of Kas where we’ll stop for shopping and lunch. After breakfast we’ll cruise to one of the relaxing bays near Kekova. Overnight stay here.
 
Day 9 Gulet Cruise (B, L, D)
Another magnificent day is awaiting us ! Today we’ll visit the Sunken City of Kekova and the traditional fishing village of Simena famous for its Byzantine & Ottoman castle. We’ll trek to the castle with a fantastic view of Kekova Bay. Then we’ll cruise to Gokkaya Bay where we’ll overnight.

Day 10 Gulet Cruise, Olympos, Antalya (B)
After breakfast we’ll give a break at the Pirates Cave before embarking our cruise boat in Demre. Then we’ll depart for Olympos, the relaxing valley ideal to chill out on the unspoiled beaches or below the huge pinetrees. In the afternoon we’ll depart for Antalya, the most popular travel spot in Turkey.

Day 11 Antalya, Konya, Cappadocia
Today we will first head our way to Konya, the city of whirling dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, we’ll depart for Cappadocia where we’ll stay overnight.
 
Day 12 Cappadocia
After breakfast we will start discovering all the important sights in Cappadocia including the Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley... We'll also visit local handicraft manufacturers and learn about traditional art.

Day 13 Cappadocia
Today we'll visit the world famous underground city, the impressive Ihlara Valley and Kervansaray in the region.
 
Day 14 Cappadoica, Ankara, Istanbul
After breakfast we will first depart for Ankara to visit Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the founder of Turkish Republic : Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. In the afternoon we’ll depart for Istanbul.

Day 15 Istanbul
Our trip will end after breakfast. Today you can shop for souvenirs in Grand Bazaar, visit the Ottoman palaces or world famous mosques.
