Introduction
We start our tour in Kathmandu, with its fascinating
bustling markets and beautiful temples. We then continue
to the Trisuli river where there is the chance to try
some white water rafting before continuing to Royal
Chitwan National park. Here we ride elephants and try to
spot tigers and rhinos. Finally we have time to relax at
the lovely lakeside city of Pokhara with its fabulous
views of the snow-capped mountain peaks of the
Annapurnas.
Day 1, KATHMANDU Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer
to hotel. (D)
Day 2, KATHMANDU Full day sightseeing tour of
Kathmandu. (B)
Day 3, DHULIKHEL Drive via Bhaktapur to Dhulikhel
village from where there are wonderful Himalayan views.

Day 4, DHULIKHEL Rise early to watch an amazing
morning sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast,
there is the chance for some easy (optional) hiking in
the hills and villages around Dhulikel. We return to
Dhulikhel for the night. (BLD)
Day 5, POKHARA Fly to Pokhara, a lake-side town
amid spectacular mountain scenery. (B)
Day 6, POKHARA A free day to go for a boat ride
on the lake, hike into the hills, visit the Tibetan
refugee centre or simply hire a bike and enjoy this laid
back lake side town. (B)
Day 7, POKHARA A free day in Pokhara. (B)
Day 8, CHITWAN Fly to Chitwan National Park. We
spend two nights in a jungle lodge. (BLD)
Day 9, CHITWAN A full day exploring Chitwan on
foot, elephant back and by canoe. If we are lucky we
might spot tigers or rhino. (BLD)
Day 10, KATHMANDU Fly back from Pokhara to
Kathmandu. (B)
Day 11, KATHMANDU End of tour. (B)
