Heavier than a Charles Dickens novel, Prague and Berlin are stocked with enough fodder for culture vultures and history buffs alike. One of the most beautiful cities in the world, Prague is a true survivor having amazingly escaped destruction in World War II. Berlin also offers its fair share of hidden treasures and historically significant sites, such as the Berlin Wall. Add the birthplace of classical music to the mix by extending your tour to historic Vienna for two more days.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Berlin. Check into your hotel after 2pm and the afternoon is yours to explore. Meet your Tour Manager and fellow travellers for a welcome drink at 6pm before dinner. (D)

Day 2: Berlin Sightseeing. This morning on our included sightseeing tour, you can see the remains of the Berlin Wall, the Olympic Stadium, Russian War Memorial and the day is yours to continue exploring this historical city. (B)

Day 3: Berlin Free Day. Why not join a local specialist guide this morning for a walking tour through the history of this great city, and finish with Checkpoint Charlie? Use the remainder of today to continue sightseeing, do some shopping or just spend a lazy day in one of Berlin’s stylish cafés.(B)

Day 4: Berlin to Prague. Heading south through Germany we arrive in the Czech Republic for 3 nights in Prague, the golden city built on Seven Hills across the River Vltava.(B,D)

Day 5: Prague Sightseeing. This morning join us on our included sightseeing tour of Hradcany Castle, the Cathedral of St Vitus, Charles Bridge and Wensceslas Square. Experience views of the city from the river on an optional lunch cruise. Tonight why not head for the centre of town and enjoy the local nightlife? (B)

Day 6: Prague Free Day. Today is yours to explore this city at your leisure, maybe include a visit to the famous Jewish Quarter or explore the Old Town. Tonight, a chance to experience the local cuisine and culture. (B)

Day 7: Prague to Vienna. This morning we leave the Czech Republic by train and enter Austria. Arriving into Vienna, we head directly to our hotel. After dinner why not explore Vienna by night? (B,D)

Day 8: Vienna Sightseeing. On our orientation tour see the Palace of the Hapsburgs, the state Opera House and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Explore the city further using your included Vienna Card with its discounts to major sights and unlimited use of public transport. Beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, the Spanish Riding School and countless museums are on offer. You cannot leave Vienna without experiencing the music of Mozart and Strauss in a unique setting! (B)

Day 9: End Vienna. Your tour ends after breakfast, swap addresses & email details with your new found friends. (B)
