BRIEF
ITINERARY
Day 1 Istanbul, Gallipoli, 24 April 2006
Welcome to Istanbul. Make your own way to our meeting point.
We will meet at 8:00 a.m. at the narrow street beside the Hagia Sophia Museum (please refer to our online
pre-departure information section for details). At 8:15 we
will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli to visit all the
important memorial sites in the region. Our guide will take
us to Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair, Lone
Pine and tell us all the stories about the legendary
campaign. Then we’ll depart for Anzac Cove and spend the
night there to prepare ourselves for an unforgettable Dawn
Service experience and commemorate the 91st anniversary of
the Gallipoli Campaign.
Day 2 Dawn Service, Ceremonies, Istanbul, 25 April 2006
Early in the morning we’ll attend the Dawn Service and the
national ceremonies. After spending some more time in
Gallipoli, we’ll depart for Istanbul where our trip will
end.
