As appointed agents to the worlds leading Adventure travel brands and some of the smaller ones we have an unrivalled range of tours. We are not tied to any one company, this means the information and advice you receive from us is unbiased. Which Airlines do we deal with? Travelmood deals directly with more than 40 of the world's leading scheduled airlines. This means that we make our reservations directly on the airline Computer Reservation System (we use Worldspan by the way), and are able to issue tickets on the spot. As this means we do not have to buy in tickets from wholesalers, the price you pay is the lowest available anywhere. Financial Security Travelmood is fully bonded for your financial security. We are members of ABTA and PATA and hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL). We issue air tickets in-house and are members of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). |

AIR TRAVEL ORGANISER'S LICENCE The License is issued by the CAA to tour operators who meet certain financial requirements including putting up a 'bond'. If the tour operator fails, the bond money is used to enable clients abroad to complete their holidays and return home, and to compensate those who still have to go on holiday, but have paid some or all the cost in advance. |

THE ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH TRAVEL AGENTS This is a trade body for travel agents and tour operators. It has both a 'commercial role' to promote the interests of its members and a 'regulatory' role. ABTA members have to operate to Codes of Conduct produced by the organisation, they are bonded so that client's money is protected in the event of failure and in the event of an unresolved dispute between a passenger and an ABTA member there is an arbitration service available which can be used as an alternative to legal action.
