Trip Itinerary

Day1: Arrive Moscow, transfer to accommodation 
Day 2: Moscow sightseeing with local expert 
Day 3: Day for sightseeing in Moscow, evening transfer to station. 
Day 4: By train through Ural Mountains, evening arrive Ekaterinburg & accommodation 
Day 5: Your choice of Ekaterinburg/Urals activities (see full itinerary) 
Day 6: Onwards by train through Southern Siberia 
Day 7: By road from Barnaul into the High Altai Mts (picnic en route). 
Day 8: Visit ancient cave-painting site, optional horse-riding.
Day 9: Cast off on Altai river-rafting trip, overnight camping 
Day 10: Second half of rafting, return to Altai Village B&B, sauna.
Day 11: By road to Novosibirsk, picnic lunch, evening free in Novosibirsk 
Day 12: Sightseeing in Novosibirsk, free time and evening train depart. 
Day 13: On board Trans-Sib eastwards, cross the Yenisei River Bridge 
Day 14: EITHER Siberian Village Stay (options for scuba, mini-trek, walking)
OR Adventure Trek to Goloustnoye Village (camping) 
Day 15: Your choice: trek, scuba or walking options at Lake Baikal.
Day 16: Free time in Irkutsk for exploring, evening train departure.
Day 17: Arrive Ulan-Uday, Buddhist monastery & Buryat Village trip.
Day 18: Trip to the Ivolginsky Buddhist Datsan + Eastern Medicine Central. 
Day 19: Early depart by train, en-route for Mongolian border 
20 Ulaanbaatar city walk, jeep departure to Bayan-Gobi, nomad stay. 
Day 21: By jeep to Karakorum site, stay in gers with local nomads. 
Day 22: Scenic desert jeep route back to UB, stay at Elstei Ger Camp. 
Day 23: Free day at Elstei for walking, activities, optional horseriding. 
Day 24: Return to Ulaanbaatar, central hotel, free time for exploring. 
Day 25: Depart by train to Beijing, across the Southern Gobi desert. 
Day 26: Pass the Great Wall of China, arrival in Beijing Arrive Moscow. Car to accommodation. Overnight at 3* Hotel.
