Itinerary Ex - Moscow
Day 1
Arrival in Moscow, with our usual guarantee to meet any
flight, train or boat.
Day 2
Sightseeing walk of Moscow – Red Square, Arbat Street, and
all the famous sights. This afternoon’s your own to explore
Moscow further – good day for the Flea Market? Free evening
– maybe grab some tickets for the circus or Russian ballet?
Day 3
Visit the Moscow Kremlin* – we help you get your tickets.
Afternoon – free time to explore Moscow some more... maybe
cruise Kuznetsky Most, or haggle the souvenir-stalls along
Arbat Street?
Day 4
the whole day’s free – and so much to see! Take a sneak-peek
at KGB HQ, or book a trip to get a snoop about inside; visit
the Tretyakov Gallery; or call in to see Uncle Lenin at his
Mausoleum? Late evening transfer to the train station, and
overnight train (in 4-berth sleeper compartments) northwards
to St Petersburg!
Day 5
Breakfast – time arrival in St Petersburg, meet-up with your
St Pete’s Buddy, and transfer to the hotel. Morning
sightseeing walk around St Petersburg – Nevsky Prospekt (the
city’s main avenue), Griboyedov Canal, Church on the Spilt
Blood, Admiralty, St Isaac’s and more! Afternoon free to
explore some more. Evening free.
Day 6
Come along to the Hermitage Collection – one of the world’s
most famous art-collections – on view within the Winter
Palace, the former Royal Palace. Free afternoon to explore –
maybe take a boat trip along the rivers and canals of the
city they call the “Northern Venice”? Evening free.
Day 7
Your last day in St Petersburg is completely free to for you
to do whatever you like! Museum of Vodka maybe? Last minute
presents for the family? Then supper, and spot of clubbing?
Day 8
It’s all over so soon – but you still have a last chance to
swap email addresses with your new friends, since we run a
free shuttle service to the airport today (you’re welcome to
stay longer... we have extra night prices, but transfer to
the airport is not included after them)
* We assist you with obtaining entry to the Kremlin. Tickets
purchased locally approx. US$15 - US$18.
No activities on Beetroot are compulsory – you buy
only the tickets you want, at local face value – leaving you
in control of your spending & time!
