 12 days The Three Capitals

In a hurry? Here are the highlights

This itinerary follows the Trans-Mongolian route. Two nights in Moscow and onto Beijing but with a stop in Mongolia that includes a day in Ulaanbaatar and two nights on the steppe staying in a traditional Ger. During the summer you can arrange with local herdsmen to ride their horses across the steppe. Ullaanbaatar’s sights include the Gandan Monastery, residence of the former Bogd-Khan (spiritual leader) and the Natural History museum – home to the dinosaur remains found in the Gobi desert.

This trip operates year round – including the Ger stays!

Our Ger winter program operates mid October to the beginning of May and during this time the facilities are limited. Due to colder climates there is no use of the showers but you get to freshen up in Ulaanbaatar before you arrive and the toilets although outside are still operational. Our restaurant with a different location is still making delicious Mongolian winter treats and horse riding is an available option for you to book locally.
