Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Berlin.: Check into your
hotel after 2pm and the afternoon is yours to explore. Meet
your Tour Manager and fellow travellers for a welcome drink
at 6pm before dinner. (D)
Day 2: Berlin Sightseeing.: This morning on our
included sightseeing tour, you can see the remains of the
Berlin Wall, the Russian War Memorial and the Brandenberg
Gate. In your free time this afternoon explore this
historical city. (B)
Day 3: Berlin at leisure.: Why not join a local
specialist guide this morning for a walking tour through the
history of this great city? This afternoon a chance to visit
the famous Checkpoint Charlie museum before more free time
to continue sightseeing, do some shopping or just spend a
lazy day in one of Berlin’s stylish cafés. (B)
Day 4: Berlin to Prague.: Heading south through
Germany we stop for lunch in Dresden. We cross the border
and arrive in the Czech Republic for 3 nights in Prague, the
golden city built on Seven Hills across the River Vltava. (B,D)
Day 5: Prague Sightseeing.: This morning join us on
our included sightseeing tour of Hradcany Castle, the
Cathedral of St Vitus, Charles Bridge and Wensceslas Square.
A chance for a different view of the city from the river on
a lunch time cruise, before heading for the centre of town
and enjoying the local nightlife. (B)
Day 6: Prague Free Day.: Free time today to explore
this city at your own pace - explore the Old Town and maybe
the Jewish Quarter. Tonight, a chance to experience the
local cuisine and culture. (B)
Day 7: Prague to Vienna.: This morning we visit the
UNESCO listed town of Kutna Hora for a chance to witness its
impressive medieval sights. We then travel south to Vienna,
the majestic capital of Austria. This evening join us for a
sightseeing tour of the Burg Ring and check out some of the
local nightlife. (B,D)
Day 8: Vienna Sightseeing.: A full day of sightseeing
and shopping in this amazing city. Time to visit the Palace
of the Hapsburgs, St. Stephen's Cathedral and snack on a
piece of apple strudel. Tonight a chance to complete your
Austrian experience with a special dinner followed by a
Mozart and Strauss concert in the fabulous Schonbrunn
Palace. (B)
Day 9: Vienna to Budapest.: A short drive takes us to
the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, for some free time. We
then travel to the Hungarian capital, Budapest - our stop
for two nights. Tonight a chance to explore the fashionable
bars of the city. (B,D)
Day 10: Budapest.: Our morning sightseeing tour
includes the Royal Palace, Chain Bridge and Fisherman's
Bastion. This afternoon free time to visit some of the
fabulous museums and then why not join us for a farewell
river cruise with buffet dinner? (B)
Day 11: End Budapest.: Time to swap addresses and
e-mail contacts before you say goodbye to your new friends
as your tour finishes after breakfast. (B)
