Trip Itinerary

Day 1/2 Paris France
Join your new group of fellow travelers as we depart London for the white cliffs of Dover, cross by ferry to beautiful France and then on to the capital - Paris. Allow yourself to be seduced by this beautiful city: the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower, Hotel d' Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and much more on the city highlights tour. Why not sample the French cuisine in the Latin Quarter before an night light tour of this fabulous city, including Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. The next day is yours, free to enjoy the many sights Paris has to offer. Visit the Mona Lisa, take a bicycle ride around the city, or just sit at a sidewalk cafe and watch the world go by. For dinner enjoy a champagne picnic under the Eiffel Tower and afterwards why not take a visit to a famous Paris Cabaret or an optional River Seine cruise. C?est magnifique!

Day 3/4 Lauterbrunnen Switzerland
Time to relax and enjoy the changing scenery on the way to the glacial valley of Lauterbrunnen nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Take an optional trip up the awesome, snow-covered Jungfrau Mountain to marvel at the breathtaking high alpine scenery. Visit the famous cascade-in-a-mountain, Trummelbach Falls, or simply savour the views on a refreshing mountain walk. For the more energetic, why not hire a mountain bike for the day, there's no better way to view the spectacular alpine scenery. It?s your choice. Bx2, Lx2, Dx2 

Day 5 Avignon France
Today we travel to the old walled city of Avignon on the banks of the Rhone river. The walking tour takes us past the fabulous Palace of the Popes and the Pont St Benezet. Tonight you can check out the traditional French nightlife in town. Bx1, Lx1, Dx1 

Day 6/7 Riviera France / Monaco
Today we head to the glamorous French Riviera and its famous beaches. There is time to visit Cannes, famous for its annual Film Festival. From our central city accommodation we can go for a relaxing stroll along the Promenade des Anglais or join the rich and famous on the beach. Visit a French perfumery before heading on to Monaco where the gambling tables of Monte Carlo await you, so wear your lucky charms tonight! Bx2, Lx1, Dx1 

Days 8/9 Florence Italy
Travelling to Italy, we stop to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa before continuing on to our Tuscan resort. Florence is famous for its renaissance art and dramatic buildings. See the Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce Church, the Duomo Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery and the Piazza Della Signoria on our walking tour. Visit a traditional Florentine gold and silver shop and see a leather demonstration. There is plenty of leisure time to discover Michelangelo?s David, or simply lose yourself in the famous markets. Days 10/11/12 Rome Italy / Vatican City
This morning we take time to visit the historic hilltop city of Orvieto before travelling on to Rome, the eternal city, and home to St. Peter's Basilica, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum. Our walking tour takes us to the Spanish Steps, Church of the Cappuchin Monks, the ancient Roman Forum, the massive Victor Emmanuel Monument and the magnificent Trevi Fountain (throw in a coin and make a wish). You may even catch a glimpse of the Pope on your visit to the Vatican City! On the last day in Rome we have a day trip to visit historic Pompeii. Bx3, Lx2, Dx1 

Days 13/14 Venice Italy
Today we head north, stopping to see the historic city of Verona, where Romeo and Juliet played out their tragic love affair. Our journey continues to the captivating city of Venice. Our walking tour passes the famous Rialto Bridge, St. Mark?s Basilica, Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. See traditional Venetian craftspeople at work ? glass blowing and lace making or wander through the narrow streets and canals. How about being serenaded in a gondola ride of the canals, or relaxing in beautiful St. Marks Square?

Days 15/16 Tyrol Austria
We then travel to the picturesque Tyrol region of Austria. Why not make a splash and try white water rafting in the refreshing waters of the alps? For two nights you?ll stay in an Austrian chalet - are you ready to party? On your free day here, why not try paragliding, mountain biking, skydiving or hiking around the alpine pastures. Days 17/18 Vienna Austria
Now we head on to Vienna, Austria?s capital, stopping en route in Salzburg, home of Mozart and the Sound of Music. In Vienna, we see the Opera House, St. Stephens Cathedral, visit the Hofburg Palace, home to the Spanish Riding School and the Vienna Boys Choir. We also see the Schonbrunn Palace and even take in a Schnapps museum. At night we can try some hair-raising rides at the famous Prater Amusement Park or go to a traditional Mozart concert in one of the city's spectacular palaces.Bx2, Lx1, Dx1 

Days 19/20 Prague Czech Republic
Prague is our next stop, the enchanting city of a thousand spires. Discover the majestic Hradcany Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Tyne Church, and Wenceslas Square. You?ll be spoilt with the choice of cultural shows, great cuisine and shopping - from bohemian crystal to handmade puppets. Bx2, Lx1, Dx1 

Day 21/22 Berlin Germany

En-route to Berlin we stop in 800 year old Dresden.Then its on to Berlin, the vibrant capital of a reunified Germany. Experience this incredible history and visit memorable sites including the famous Victory Monument, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Kaiser Wilhelm Church, Potsdamerplatz and the world renowned Zoo. See the Checkpoint Charlie Museum and Unter Den Linden in former East Berlin. Bx2, Lx1, Dx1 

Days 23/24 Amsterdam Netherlands
We travel on to the cultural capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam with its relaxed liberated style. See historic Dam Square, the National Monument and Anne Frank?s House. Discover the artistic treasures of the Rijks and Van Gogh museums. See windmills and clogs and cheese being made the traditional way. Enjoy Amsterdam?s infamous Red Light District in the evening. Why not tour the famous Heineken Brewery, or take a cruise along the canals after our farewell dinner. Bx2, Lx1, Dx1 

Day 25 London England
This morning we will visit Brugge in Belgium for a walking tour before driving through the Belgian and French countryside to the port of Calais. Cross the Channel to the white cliffs of Dover, arriving back in London in the early evening as we bid a fond farewell to new-found friends. Bx1
