Days 1/2 Paris France
Depart London for Dover, crossing by ferry to France and Paris. See the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre on our city tour. Our night light tour includes Montmartre and Sacre Coeur and much more. The next day you re free to enjoy Paris before our champagne picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Days 3/4 Lauterbrunnen Switzerland

Day 5 Avignon France
Today we enter the enchanting old walled city of Avignon on the banks of the Rhone River. Take a walk past the famous Palace of the Popes and the Pont St. Benezet. Tonight check out the traditional French nightlife in town.

Days 6/7 Barcelona Spain
Travelling south to Figueres, just inside Spain, with time to visit the famous Dali Museum before continuing to Barcelona. Our highlights tour of Barcelona includes the Columbus Monument, Sagrada Familia - Gaudi's spectacular cathedral, Montjuic (site of the 1992 Olympics), Pueblo Espanol, and the fascinating Las Ramblas markets. Days 8/9 Riviera France/Monaco
Onwards to the glamorous French Riviera. Why not stroll along the Promenade des Anglais or mingle with the rich and famous on the beach. Visit a French perfumery before heading on to Monaco where the gambling tables of the famous Monte Carlo casino await us. Don t forget your good-luck charm.

Days 10/11 Venice Italy
Crossing into Italy we stop off in Verona to see the Roman Forum and Juliet s House, before arriving into the captivating maritime city of Venice. Our highlights tour passes the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Basilica, Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. See traditional Venetian craftspeople at work, glass blowing and lace making, before wandering through the narrow streets or even cruising the canals in a gondola.

Days 12/13 Florence Italy
Stopping en-route to see the famous leaning Tower of Pisa we continue on to Florence, and two nights in our Tuscan Resort. Florence is famous for its renaissance art and architecture, and we see the Uffizi Gallery, Duomo Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Church on our highlights tour. Visit a traditional gold and silver shop and see a leather demonstration. Plenty of free time to discover Michelangelo's David or go bargain hunting in the markets.

Days 14/15 Rome Italy/Vatican City
Today we stop to visit the hilltop city of Orvieto, before venturing forth on to the eternal city of Rome - home of St. Peter's Basilica, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum. Our walking tour takes in the Spanish Steps, the ancient Roman Forum, the massive Victor Emmanuel Monument and theTrevi Fountain. Days 16/17 Sorrento Italy
Today we head for stunning Sorrento, stopping to visit the ancient buried city of Pompeii enroute. Tonight sample the local nightlife. The next day the choice is yours - one suggestion is an optional day excursion to the Isle of Capri where you can relax on the beach, see the famous Blue Grotto and wander up to the imposing clifftop village of

Day 18 Overnight ferry Italy/Greece
This morning we head to southern Italy to meet our overnight ferry to the Greek mainland. On the way we will visit Monte Cassino, the sight of one of the fiercest battles in World War II.

Days 19/20/21 Island Sailing Greece
Our overnight ferry berths on the Greek mainland where we meet our flotilla leader and yachts. After instructions from the flotilla leader we set sail on the Ionian Sea for three fantastic days sailing. You'll join in crewing the yacht and of course have time to swim and sunbathe. In the evenings relax in the local tavernas where you can sample the local Greek cuisine.

Days 22/23 Athens Greece
Onwards to Athens stopping at the remarkable Corinth Canal. See the Olympic Stadium built for the first modern Olympics, the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon, the National Museum and the 2004 Olympic complex. Discover treasures at the Plaka markets and see the National Palace in Syntagma Square.

Day 24 Meteora Greece
Leaving Athens we drive north to Meteora. Once there we visit the spectacular cliff top monasteries rising from the magnificent plains of Thessaly. Some of the monasteries date back to the 14th century.

Today we make our way to Kavalla where you can work on your tan, go for a walk into town or just relax on the beach. Nothing is a problem.

Day 26 Gallipoli Turkey
After crossing into Turkey, we travel to the Gallipoli peninsular. Our Gallipoli guided tour lets you reflect on the historic events of 1915. See where ANZAC Forces landed in World War I and try to understand the conditions the soldiers encountered: it's a very moving experience.

Days 27/28/29 Istanbul Turkey
This morning we travel to exotic Istanbul - where east meets west. Our local guide escorts us to the Topkapi Palace, Saint Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the fascinating underground cistern. Crossing into former eastern block and Bulgaria, we pass historic Plovdiv on our way to Sofia - the historic capital of Bulgaria. This morning our local guide shows us the Calei Victoriei, Bucharest's most famous street, based on the promenades of Paris, the Arch of Triumph, the main city square, Cretulescu Church and the Palace of the Republic. We then travel to the province of Transylvania with its notorious Bran Castle where the legend of Dracula started.

Day 34 Cluj Napoca Romania
Travelling through Romania today, we stop for lunch at Sighisoara, where Dracula was born. Tonight we stay at Cluj Napoca, a university town and one of Romania's most important cultural

Days 35/36 Budapest Hungary
Budapest has to be one of Europe's most romantic cities situated on the banks of the mighty Danube River. Visit the Liberation Memorial, Roosevelt Square, Chain Bridge, Castle District and Fisherman's Bastion, with plenty of time left to explore more at your leisure.

Day 37/38 Vienna Austria
We continue along the Danube, to Bratislava. See the 14th century Cathedral of St. Martin's, Michael Gate and the Baroque Tower before arriving in musical Vienna, the capital of Austria. Our driving tour takes in the Opera House, St. Stephens Cathedral. Visit the Hofburg Palace, home to the Spanish Riding School and the Vienna Boy's Choir. Time to see the Schonbrunn Palace and visit a Schnapps museum

Prague is our next stop, the enchanting city of turrets and towers. Discover the majestic Hradcany Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Tyne Church, and Wenceslas Square. Old Krakow has a wealth of history in its beautiful streets. Visit Rynek Glowny with its famous Cloth Hall Markets, or stroll around the Wawel Castle Hill. This morning a sobering visit to the memorial camps of Birkenau and Auschwitz before we move on to Poland's Capital - Warsaw. Our driving tour includes the Chopin Monument, Heroes of the Uprising monument and the notorious Pawiak Prison. A city alive with history and heartache, explore the amazing areas restored after World War 2.

Days 45/46 Berlin Germany
Over 15 years have passed since the wall tumbled down; rejoining this once divided city. Experience this incredible history and visit sites including the famous Victory Monument, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Kaiser Wilhelm Church, Potsdamerplatz and the world renowned Zoo. Take in the Checkpoint Charlie Museum and Unter Den Linden in Former East Berlin.

Days 47/48 Amsterdam Netherlands
On to Amsterdam, the cultural capital of the Netherlands. Here you see historic Dam Square, the National Monument and the memorable Anne Frank's House. Discover the artistic treasures held in the Rijks and Van Gogh museums. See windmills and learn how clogs and cheese are traditionally made. In the evening enjoy Amsterdam's infamous Red Light District.

Our adventure ends with a drive through the Belgian and French countryside to board the ferry at Calais. We cross the Channel to the white cliffs of Dover and arrive in London early evening. Time to farewell your new-found friends.
