Built on wooden stilts with deck platforms and thatched roofs, Marlin Lodge overlooks tranquil Flamingo Bay, located on Benguerra Island, 14kms from the mainland. Nestled amidst the island shoreline you’ll enjoy the clear waters, sandy beach and views of dhow sailing boats drifting by. Wooden walkways connect the nineteen chalets to the main areas.

Accommodation is of a high standard with luxury chalets offering 60sqm of space and a 17sqm verandah with deck chairs. Each chalet includes a four-poster bed with mosquito netting, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, private lounge area and a private walkway to the beach. Diving at Benguerra Island is excellent and the Lodge features comprehensive dive facilities and activities. Facilities include a restaurant, pool, and beauty salon.

Benguerra Island is a 20 minute boat ride from Vilanculos, the nearest airport (connecting flights from Johannesburg). Boat transfer from £42 per person return.
