Safari holidays are like no other, boasting adventurous trails, historic expeditions, incredible landscapes and of course the chance to witness wild animals in their natural habitat. Safari literally means ‘journey’ in Swahili, and a safari holiday is a journey everyone should embark on at least once in a lifetime.

Whether you take a fly-in or road safari, or stay in a camp or lodge most safari holidays follow similar itineraries where you enjoy a minimum of two game-drives per day. For optimal viewing these take place in the early morning and late afternoon when the animals are most active. Some camps also offer activities such as bush walks and night drives, other times can be spent soaking up the surroundings at leisure.

Eastern Africa

Safaris and wildlife tours in Kenya & Tanzania are very unique, travelling through large National Parks and Reserves boasting huge herds of wildlife and naturally migrating animals. Road safaris are a good value option to see a few different parks on one trip giving a great overview of each country.

Southern Africa

In South Africa and Botswana you will stay in one lodge and take twice daily game drives and activities from there. South Africa boasts two excellent regions for wildlife tours, the Eastern Cape which is malaria-free and also a great start or end to a Garden Route trip and Kruger, a wild National Park with unfenced borders.
