3 Day Mulu Caves of Sarawak

Hidden underneath the forested slopes of Sarawak’s mountains is one of the largest limestone cave systems in the world. This system, a breath-taking natural wonder, contains a number of record breaking caves. With the world's largest cave passage (Deer Cave), the world's largest natural chamber (Sarawak Chamber), and the longest cave in Southeast Asia (Clearwater Cave), it is not surprising that Mulu is now world-famous.

Day 1 Mulu Caves You’ll be met at Mulu Airport
(your Travelmood consultant can arrange your flights, own expense) by the guide and given a short briefing. Travel on to Mulu National Park where your tour of the caves begins with a 45 minute walk to the entrance. Explore Deer Cave, the world’s largest cave passage. Depending on your level of fitness venture on to the Garden of Eden which involves clambering over rocks. Returning back to the entrance to Deer Cave proceed to nearby Lang’s Cave. Overnight: Royal Mulu Resort, an international class hotel.

Day 2 Mulu Caves Today includes visits to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave by boat. After lunch you can relax or take a swim at a beautiful stream at Clearwater Cave. On the way back visit the Penan Settlement at Batu Bungan. Return to the Royal Mulu Resort for your second night.

Day 3 Depart Mulu After breakfast depart for Mulu Airport for your onward flight.
