Day 1 Cape Town to Oudtshoorn
Depart from Cape Town (pick up from your Cape Town hotel) and travel over the Hottentots Hollands Mountains through rolling countryside en route to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Cango Caves, considered to be one of the biggest underground caves complexes in the world and an Ostrich Farm where you may see an ostrich race. De Opstal is situated in the picturesque Schoemanshoek Valley, just outside Oudtshoorn. This historic lodge includes a pool and lush gardens.

Day 2 Oudtshoorn to Knysna
Depart after breakfast and travel via the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to George, and continue on to the Garden Route. In the bustling holiday resort of Knysna enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon and see the Knysna Heads. The Graywood Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Knysna, with the popular Waterfront area just a 300 metre walk away. See page 29 for details.

Day 3 Tsitsikamma National Park
This is a magical place of rivers, indigenous forests, sandy beaches and a magnificently rugged coastline. Visit Nature’s Valley and Storms River, just two of Tsitsikamma’s highlights and enjoy the scenery.

Day 4 Return to Cape Town
The final day sees a return to Cape Town. Stop off en route at Mossel Bay. This working harbour features historic buildings, museums and some superb seafood restaurants. Arrive back into Cape Town late afternoon.
