Day 4 Petrified Forest
Discover the Vingerklip, a rock finger that is 35 metres high after being subjected to centuries of erosion. Visit the Petrified Forest, composed of gigantic tree trunks, transported by floods and covered in mud. In time they turned to stone and some are 30 metres long. Continue on to the Twyfelfontein area; a very vulnerable and delicate ecosystem, renowned for some of the best examples of Bushman paintings and rock engravings in southern Africa. Interesting rock formations and the remainder of prehistoric volcanic action can be seen among the most prominent geographic features.

Day 5 Swakopmund
Today we head west to the coastline of Namibia and the country’s foremost seaside resort. Enjoy a tour of Swakopmund: the 1910 lighthouse, the old post office and the jetty.
