ITINERARY

Day 1 (Tuesday): Check midday, after lunch we visit the Botanical garden by Felucca and as the sun goes down enjoy the magical Sound and light show at the Philae Temple, returning to our boat for dinner. Overnight Aswan. Meals included: (L/D)

Day 2 (Wednesday): This morning is free to explore Aswan, perhaps a visit to the Nubian Museum or an optional visit to Abu Simbel. After lunch we visit the Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk to see how the huge granite stones were cut and the Temple of Philae. Overnight Aswan. Meals included: (L/D)

Day 3 (Thursday): Today we set sail early for Edfu, after breakfast we visit the twin temple of Kom Ombo, returning to relax onboard our cruise ship and continuing on to Edfu Temple in the afternoon. Overnight Edfu. Meals included: (B/L/D)

Day 4 (Friday): Today we set sail early for Esna and onwards to Luxor. There is plenty of time to relax and watch life go by or to enjoy the facilities onboard. In the afternoon we visit Karnak temple. Overnight Luxor. Meals included: (B/L/D)

Day 5 (Saturday): After breakfast we explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes, visiting the Valley of the Kings, with its royal tombs, the temple of Madinat Habu and the Colossus of Memnon. The rest of the day is free to explore Luxor or perhaps make use of the spa facilities. This evening we enjoy the Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple. Overnight Luxor. Meals included: (B/L/D)

Day 6 (Sunday): Today we set sail for Quina and enjoy a private visit to the Temple of Dendarah, dedicated to Harhor, Goddess of Music, Love and Joy and enjoy a farewell evening reception at the temple. Overnight Quina. Meals included: (B/L/D)

Day 7 (Monday): Early morning we return to Luxor to enjoy a further visit to the West Bank to visit the Nobles Tomb and Dair El Madina, the site of a very special workman’s village. This afternoon there is plenty of time to relax or explore Luxor further. Overnight Luxor. Meals included: (B/L/D)

Day 8 (Tuesday): Sadly our cruise ends after breakfast.
