Our opinion: The Movenpick Resort Aswan
sits on its own island in the middle of the Nile with
views of Aswan on one side and the desert on the other -
a perfect place to relax.

• Very close to the Egyptian Museum and other

The rooms:
All 234 rooms are air conditioning and feature satellite
TV and high-speed Internet access. The hotel has
recently undergone a complete refurbishment and the
rooms are beautifully furnished many of which have a
balcony overlooking the Nile or a terrace looking onto
the gardens.
