Day 2 Saigon City Tour Saigon is the
largest of
Vietnam’s cities, with the hustle and bustle of
Vietnamese life visible everywhere. There are
street markets, sidewalk cafés and sleek new
bars. Yet within this teeming metropolis are 300
years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an
ancient culture. Highlights include Notre Dame
Cathedral, the French-style Central Post Office,
City Hall, the War Remnants Museum, Thien Hau
Pagoda and a visit to the markets.
Day 3 Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels
Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to
the unique Cao Dai sect. The temple’s exterior is
decorated with multi-coloured dragons of all
shapes and sizes. The interior is just as
engaging. After lunch continue on to the Cu Chi
Tunnels. The Tunnels were an important base
during the war because of their strategic location.
The Vietcong built 200kms of tunnels connecting
command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon
factories.
Day 4 Depart Saigon Time at leisure
