DAY 1 Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and River Kwai
After an early morning pick-up from your accommodation drive to Kanchanaburi.
Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum, Hell-fire Pass, the War Cemetery and
Bridge over the River Kwai. Travel by longtail boat to the River Kwai Jungle
Rafts, passing by superb mountainous jungle scenery. Your accommodation is in
unique
close-to-nature floating lodges set on the River Kwai. Enjoy the tranquilityof a
stay on the river, free from traffic noise.
DAY 2 River Kwai
Take an exciting boat ride upstream to visit a waterfall, then after lunch visit
the Lava Cave, explore the fascinating rock formations inside before relaxing
for the afternoon back at the lodge. Optional activities (own expense) such as
canoeing or mountain biking.
DAY 3 River Kwai to Bangkok
Optional elephant ride through the bamboo forest followed by an historic ride on
the Death Railway Train. Return to Bangkok at approximately 5pm to complete your
tour. A drop off at the Airport can be arranged for a supplement.
