DAY 1 Bangkok to Floating Market to River Kwai
Following your early morning pick-up (6.30am) from your Bangkok hotel head for
Damnoen Saduak and the Floating Market where
you’ll see traditional Thai lifestyles unchanged in centuries. At Kanchanaburi
visit the Allied War Cemetery and JEATH War Museum. Board a train and take a
ride on the Death Railway along the original wooden viaducts. After lunch visit
a Tiger Temple; more than 20 tigers living within the temple grounds. Overnight
Pung Waan Resort or similar.
DAY 2 Kanchanaburi to Ayuthaya
Morning visit to the Hellfire Pass Memorial before continuing to historic
Ayuthaya via Suphan Buri. The scenery near the Burmese border is dominated by
fertile farmland and jungle-clad mountains. Overnight Krungsri River Hotel or
similar.
DAY 3 Ayuthaya to Bang Pa In to Bangkok
This morning visit the famous temples in Ayuthaya before proceeding to Bang Pa
In, the former residence of the kings of Ayuthaya built in the 18th century.
Enjoy lunch on a luxury cruise
along the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok. Return approximately 5pm.
Departs Bangkok daily
Visit the WW2 Museum and War Cemetery. Travel on the original 'Death Railway Train'...
