Day 1 Arrive Gisborne
Drive to Gisborne for your 2 night stay at the Portside Hotel, located near the water’s edge. If you require a coach transfer from Rotorua your Travelmood consultant can arrange this at additional cost.

Day 2 First Light Tour
Gisborne is one of the first places to see the new day. On this tour, be one of the first in the World to see the dawning of a new day, from a cliff top overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with breathtaking views, complimentary photo, and glass of bubbly or orange juice to celebrate this occasion. This is a very unique tour. Some uphill walking is required.

Day 3 Depart Gisborne
Time at leisure before your departure. We can also pre-book a Whale Rider tour, visiting some of the locations from the film (from £35).
