Mon Logis was built as a terrace house in the
1860s. This colonial building was extended into
a private hotel in 1915 and was one of the few
buildings to survive the 1931 earthquake. In
1991 it became Mon Logis ('My Lodge'),
recreating the French tradition of boutique hotel
in Hawke's Bay. Located on the Marine Parade
overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Cape
Kidnappers, a few minutes walk from the town
centre. Each of the four rooms is decorated
individually but in a style in keeping with the
original charm of the building. Iron bedsteads,
feather duvets, lace covers and fine cotton linen
all create a special elegance. All with en suite.
Breakfast included. Children not catered for.
