 Historical Malacca

A relaxing 2 hour drive south of KL will take you to Malacca, the oldest trading port in Malaysia which has undergone Portuguese, Dutch and English rule. Visit St. Paul’s Hill for a good view of Malacca Straits and the old town of Bandar Hilir, the famous Portuguese Fort de Santiago and the ruins of St. Paul’s church lined by 17th century tombstones. After lunch take stroll in the ‘Antique Row’ at Jonker Street. On the way back stop by the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia and view Kampong Kling, a typical Malay village. Approximately an 8 hour tour departs daily at approx. 8.45am.
