3 Day Danum Valley Rainforest

Danum Valley is located in the midst of a vast tropical rainforest in Sabah. Great opportunities to see wildlife such as Orang Utan, Gibbons and Silver/Red Leaf monkeys.

Day 1 Lahad Datu to Danum Valley Depart at 5.30am for Kota Kinabalu airport for the flight to Lahad Datu. Then a 3 hour journey to the Borneo Rainforest Lodge, in the heart of the Danum Valley Conservation Area. Along the way wildlife may be spotted. Trek in the oldest remaining rainforest in the world and experience an exciting suspension walkway. After dinner, weather permitting search for nocturnal animals.

Day 2 Rainforest and Wildlife Trek Proceed to nature walk through undisturbed riverine and lowland dipterocarp forests. Extended hike in search of Orang Utan.

Day 3 Danum Valley to Lahad Datu Visit the waterfalls and pools and hike upstream and along the canopy walkway. After lunch proceed to the Lahad Datu Airport for your flight back
to Kota Kinabalu, then transfer back to your hotel.
