Pangkor is an island located off the coast of Lumut, Perak, on the west side of Peninsula Malaysia and offering some of the world's finest beaches. Just a 20-minute ferry ride from Lumut, Pangkor Island features an array of water sports with plenty of heavenly spots for sunbathing. The Pangkor Island Beach Resort is surrounded by 73 acres of lush tropical centuries old forest, exotic land and marine life. On this private enclave, the resort offers 1.2 kilometres of pristine private beach with emerald green waters.

Choose from Pacific Wing or Ocean Wing accommodation. All rooms are seafacing and include a private balcony, air conditioning and hairdryer.

Pacific Wing
The four-storey Pacific Wing offers 81 luxurious rooms and suites.

Ocean Wing
The newly refurbished deluxe sea-facing rooms are luxuriously spacious with private balconies, bay windows and equipped with modern conveniences. They command a spectacular view
of the sea, set amidst the lush tropical greenery.

Facilities
Two swimming pools, children’s pool, kid’s club, tennis courts, traditional massage and treatment centre, archery and jungle trekking.

Bars and restaurants
The Hornbill overlooks the swimming pool and secluded beachfront. From à la carte to snack menus including a wide range of local and international dishes are featured. The Pacific Terrace features a choice of fresh seafood, Western cuisine and Chef's specials on the Island. Weather permitting, dining under the stars is available by the deck area. Poolside bar and Lobby Lounge bar with live entertainment.

How to get to Pangkor
By air: Fly from Subang Airport (return transfers from a KL hotel to Subang from £14 per person) to Pangkor via Berjaya Air. Departs daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to change) and takes around 40 minutes. Land on Pangkor Island where you’ll be met and transferred the short
distance to the Resort. Airfare price on request.
By land: You’ll be collected from either KL Airport or your KL hotel for your car transfer north to Lumut, a journey time of approximately 3.5 hours (4.5 hours from the airport). From Lumut it’s a 30 minute ferry ride across to Pangkor Island (7
services daily with last one to the Island at 7pm). Free shuttle bus to the Resort (1.2km). One way transfer from KL Airport to Lumut or vice versa is £92 per car, from KL hotel to Lumut or vice versa £77. Maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2
children. Return ferry is £3 per person.
