Pangkor Laut Resort
Pangkor Laut is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca. Situated on this exotic island is the internationally acclaimed
Pangkor Laut Resort & Spa. Although the island encompasses a total of 300 acres, only a fraction has been developed to house the Resort Spa Village and the luxurious Estates while
the rest is covered by lush and unspoiled two million year old rainforest. The Resort offers many fine dining opportunities, a wide range of facilities and activities, and has been widely
praised for its attentive and gracious service. Voted the best island destination in the world by Condé Nast Traveller (2003), Pangkor Laut Resort consistently ranks high on the itinerary
of international pleasure seekers.

Accommodation
Pangkor Laut offers guests a choice of four different villa styles. The villas are all designed to accommodate two guests. All villas have airconditioning, a king-size bed, hairdryer, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Additionally, there is
a CD-player with a large selection of music available from the Library.

Garden Villa
Set amidst the lush tropical gardens of the Resort, these are housed in double-storey units. The villas on the ground floor have a huge bathtub in a private courtyard while the bathrooms in the villas on the first floor open out to a view of
the surrounding rainforest.

Hill Villa
Perched dramatically on the hillside amidst the rainforest, some of these villas have a magnificent view of the sea and the Resort's beautiful tropical gardens.

Beach Villa
Located just steps away from the white sandy beach, these villas have a breathtaking view of the sea. The bungalows
feature a private balcony with deck chairs, a large bathroom with a separate shower and a huge bathtub in a private outdoor courtyard.

Sea Villa
Standing elegantly on stilts over the sea and linked by wooden walkways, these villas are the signature feature of the island. Each private villa is airy and spacious, has a large balcony with deck chairs and a bathroom with an oversized tub with frosted windows that when open has sea views.

Facilities
Two swimming pools, jet pool and cold dip, gymnasium, tennis, squash, watersports and massage treatments.

Bars and restaurants
The Samudra is built on stilts over the sea and offers Asian and Western cuisine. Uncle Lim’s is a Chinese restaurant named after the chef. It sits atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. The Royal Bay Beach Club is just steps away from the lap pool and offers light lunches and snacks. Dinner on the Rock is on a rock outcrop at Emerald Bay. Sunset Dinner at Sea with the captain on board a Chinese Junk. Fisherman’s Cove offers a truly unique symphony of Western Grill, Chinese signature dishes, fresh seafood and Italian cuisine.
