ITINERARY:

DAY 1 Thursday: Cairo On arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative and helped through government and customs formalities and transferred to the Mena House Oberoi.

DAY 2 Friday: Cairo Today, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of artefacts from the era of the Pharaohs, the Great Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos), the Sphinx and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Overnight at the Mena House Oberoi.

DAY 3 Saturday: Cairo Transfer to Cairo airport for early morning flight to Aswan, where you will board the cruise boat Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise.

DAY 4 Sunday: Nile cruise After breakfast, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, the unfinished obelisk and Philae Temple. In the afternoon, you will explore the twin Temple of Kom Ombo before sailing on to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu on the Oberoi Philae.

DAY 5 Monday: Nile Cruise This morning, you will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu and sail on to Esna to pass through the lock. In the afternoon, you will cruise on to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor on the Oberoi Philae.

DAY 6 Tuesday: Nile cruise After breakfast, you will explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes, visiting the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Madinat Habu and the Colossus of Memnon. The rest of the day will be free to explore Luxor. Overnight in Luxor on the Oberoi Philae.

DAY 7 Wednesday: Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, Red Sea Transfer by road to Hurghada on the Red Sea where you will overnight in the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh.

DAY 8 Thursday: day at leisure Overnight at the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh.

DAY 9 Friday: day at leisure Overnight at the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh.

DAY 10 Saturday: morning transfer to Hurghada Airport.
