The Indian Pacific links two oceans with a journey from Sydney to Perth, via Adelaide or vice versa. Travel from the spectacular Blue Mountains to the treeless plains of The Nullarbor. See unique landscapes and spot a fascinating array of wildlife from the comfort of the lounge or your cabin. The journey from Sydney to Perth covers over 2,700 miles with three nights aboard the great train. All along the Indian Pacific route, keep an eye out for a sighting of the magnificent Australian wedge tailed eagle, the symbol of this great train. It's massive wingspan of up to two metres will make it easy to spot in a clear desert sky.

Departs Sydney Wednesdays and Saturdays and departs Perth Sundays and Wednesdays.

Accommodation & Facilities
The Indian Pacific and The Ghan offer two levels of service:

Gold Service  Well appointed Single and Twin Sleeper Cabins are available. Twin Sleepers have a comfortable three seater lounge which converts to upper and lower sleeping berths and include private en suite bathroom with wash basin and shower. Single cabins have most of the features of the twin cabin, however showers and toilets are located at the end of each carriage. Stylish restaurant car dining is included in the fare.

Red Service - Seat Only Service Daynighter seating is in comfortable two abreast reclining armchairs. Toilet and shower facilities are located at the end of each carriage. Guest have access to the lounge and diner where they can purchase meals and beverages.
