GENERAL CONDITIONS

Rental period Prices are calculated on 24 hour periods (1 day). Age/licence Group X – D min. age 21. Other groups min 25. Surcharge of A$27.50 per day applies for renters between 21 – 24 years. A valid and full driver’s licence is required and must be held for a minimum of 1 year.

Additional drivers There is no charge for additional drivers.

Concession recovery fee Varies between 5% and 15% dependant on which airport you are collecting the vehicle from.

Multiple hire Rent in more than one Australian location and you can combine the total rental days, which may qualify for a lower daily price.

Insurance excess A$2750 is the excess for vehicles X - V, but this can be reduced to A$385 by paying A$22 per day at time of vehicle collection. Excess for groups K & W is A$5500 and can be reduced to A$1100 by paying A$33 per day.

One way rental policy Continuous rentals of a minimum duration of 72 hours do not incur a one way rental fee (with some exceptions, please ask for details). One way rentals not permitted for group X.

Restricted driving roads/areas Your Travelmood consultant can provide you with a list of restricted roads/areas. Should the vehicle be driven over the restricted roads/areas your insurance cover will be void.

Prices shown do not include pick up or drop off in the Northern Territory where prices for a group B car start from £43 per day and 4WDs from £63 per day
