
Day 1 Arrive Darwin Make your own
way to your chosen hotel, see price box for choice.
Day 2 Kakadu National Park Visit the
Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, before joining a
guided boat cruise on Yellow Water,
Kakadu’s most famous wetland area and home to the
fearsome saltwater crocodile. Following lunch, travel to
the Nourlangie Rock Aboriginal art site. Two night stay
at Aurora Kakadu.
Day 3 4WD Arnhem Land with Aboriginal Guide
4WD adventure tour to visit an Aboriginal settlement and
Mikinj Valley. Travel through
this majestic region which offers spectacular scenery.
Learn about bush skills, hunting techniques and how to
prepare bushtucker.
Day 4 Ubirr, East Alligator River Time
this morning for a scenic flight over the Arnhem Land
escarpment (own expense). Board the
coach and travel to Ubirr to explore galleries of
ancient Aboriginal artwork. Join a cruise on the East
Alligator River, before arriving in Arnhem Land. Visit
the Bowali and Wetlands Visitors Centres on your return
journey to Darwin.
Day 5 Depart Darwin Day at leisure
before making your own way to the airport to continue
your itinerary.
